they wear disguises to hide
they steal the rides
they’ll only come once
to steal your life

they are evil spirits that hate you
they look like they’re your friend
they’ll look at you with deceitful eyes
once they have what they want, there’s nothing you can do
you can scream, you can run, do all you can
they’re angels from hell

demons from hell
vanity
fallens from hell
fantasy

demons that sell
fallens that rebel
dark entities that you can’t tell


their wings spread far apart
they grind their teeth
they tear at your heart
while they stand on a reef
they’ll creep out to you
they’ll seep out to you
they wait for you
before they take over you

can you sleep? can’t you hide from this?
the only way to fight is in love, chants and the holy
and when you’re finally through it, you’ll know why
