throughout the world
I see in our eyes, coexistence and acceptance
evolving around us
every single minute of the day
but why do we pay
by using up everything around us
destroying the rain forest for today
you can cry whenever you see this happen
and it happens all the time
and diseases comes out with a vengeance
striking us like wild fire like there’s no compliance
just raise your head and look around the world
you will see the world fight back against us

down on goes, comes the rain
all the others of our kind don’t speak the same
you can feel the rain hit your face to hide the pain
this world ain’t so bad after all
we can heal the hurt when it came
we may find a way to live
for all living things and us will not be insane
we will find a way to live
feel the rain run down your face
and realize it ain’t so bad after all

there is something leaking, its a hole in the sky
the destructive sun and radiation, we will surely die
when will we ever realize
how we can kill ourselves with these lies
we may find a way to live
with this destruction in people’s lives
we can survive
give us time to realize
what we see through our eyes

How Do I Escape This Nightmare?

I've fallen asleep
and I can’t escape
I've been searching for you
I thought you were her
I can’t see where I’m going
I’m stumbling in the dark and I can’t hear
I’m losing myself in this dream, this scary dream
I’m camouflaged within this night and I want to end the fight
I suddenly hear screaming and it ends with laughing and then I feel fear

I’m locked in my dream
after I get used to sleeping twelve hours
I’m living a world that’s black and white
and I don’t want to leave
its a dream about me and my sisters and its not ours
its about people we don’t like and there’s no bright light
and I ask the question

how do I escape this nightmare?
in a place on a land
where no one cares and nothing is fair
how do I escape this nightmare?

am I in a school or a prison?
how do I escape this nightmare
am I in the USA or Thailand?
how do I escape this nightmare?

that's where I've been living
in my own world of sleeping
you can hear me breathing
in this world I’m dreaming
everyone lost their will to keep believing
but I haven’t and I’ll keep fighting
I’ll find a way to escape this nightmare

the fear of failure fills me well inside my soul
the fear inside
there’s no place to hide
how will I escape?
I can imagine the women in a rape
the demons can hear me and they’re laughing at me
the fallens can see me and they’re attacking me
the vultures are flying down on me
why am I running?
when I know they are coming for me
I can’t escape
this insane rape
that they put me through
and there’s nothing more that I can do
