Ain’t So Bad After All

throughout the world
I see in our eyes, coexistence and acceptance
evolving around us
every single minute of the day
but why do we pay
by using up everything around us
destroying the rain forest for today
you can cry whenever you see this happen
and it happens all the time
and diseases comes out with a vengeance
striking us like wild fire like there’s no compliance
just raise your head and look around the world
you will see the world fight back against us

down on goes, comes the rain
all the others of our kind don’t speak the same
you can feel the rain hit your face to hide the pain
this world ain’t so bad after all
we can heal the hurt when it came
we may find a way to live
for all living things and us will not be insane
we will find a way to live
feel the rain run down your face
and realize it ain’t so bad after all

there is something leaking, its a hole in the sky
the destructive sun and radiation, we will surely die
when will we ever realize
how we can kill ourselves with these lies
we may find a way to live
with this destruction in people’s lives
we can survive
give us time to realize
what we see through our eyes
